PHOENIX TECHNOLOGY HOLDING INC (PTH) US/SCTN CONTRACT WITH DAWSON COUNTY UNITED FOR AZALEACARD FUND RAISING PROGRAM

Phoenix/SCTN have announced a contract today with Dawson County United, Dawson County, Georgia (DCU) soccer league. The program will help raise funds for the operation of the league in a new type of program.

The SCTN software suite is the technology backbone of the AzaleaCard Program, the unique fund raising program utilized by Phoenix to help member organizations, school districts, clubs and charities to raise much needed funds.

AzaleaCard is a program that provides a magnetic or smart chip card to members, who present the card at local and national merchants for instant discounts. Importantly and additionally, the merchants accrue an amount equal to the discount and send it monthly directly to the members sponsoring organization. The members go about their daily lives consuming and saving while at the same time providing an important source of on-going revenue to their organization.

DCU fund raising manager, Jason Bonesteel said “AzaleaCard allows us to raise funds year round in a time when all organizations are struggling to do so. Our members save money on every day purchases and help the club off-set expenses at the same time. We wanted a simple, yet sophisticated program that we could use year round. We are dedicated to trying to make soccer affordable for our club members and this program gives us the ability to do so both short and long term. It also helps us establish an important real connection with the local merchants in our tri-county area whereby we can support the businesses that support our members, by shopping at their locations.”
