The mobile solution is based on soft token technology that supports strong authentication through a one-time password (OTP) using a single active credential. The token is ideal for consumer authentication applications and enterprises enabling access to commercial resources using two-factor authentication systems. Unlike current card and PIN number combinations that are used repeatedly – and are consequently less secure – an OTP-based system generates a new, unique password for each transaction. By downloading the software application onto a mobile device, consumers may securely retrieve and store personal data and information for offline access.
